Question: How about fasting? Do we have to fast? According to the Medugorje visionary, Mother Mary stated that there are answers that can only be answered with fasting. Is this true? If so, why should we fast? What does this do?

God’s answer:

A sign:
Do not eat

An empty plate

It is customary.

Meaning: Customary means usual practice. When I received this answer, I asked Mother Mary if this was only customary, then why did she say this was necessary. To which Mother Mary replied: “Trust in God alone”. Meaning, if I hear of any kind of message that is contradictory to what God says, even if such supposedly comes from her, I should only believe the words of God.

Question: If this is only customary, then why did You (as Jesus ) fast for forty days?

God’s answer:

Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

This was Jesus' reply to the devil who tried to tempt him to turn the stones to bread.

Question: What does this really mean?

God’s answer:

Life is more important than food.

Question: Why did you have to make this point?

God’s answer:

Temptation
With Spirit the flesh is not weak. If you eat of Me, you will not die.

Question: God if these answers are correct can you confirm or give some closing statement?

God’s answer:

I Am the bread of Life.
You do not crumble.

Meaning: Even when the going is rough, you will not sell or compromise your soul.
